Felsenkopf

single vineyard in the municipality of Trittenheim (Bernkastel area) in the German Moselle wine-growing region. The vineyard, which is oriented from west to southwest and has a slope of 25 to 60%, covers only half a hectare of vineyards on stony slate weathered soil. Only the Riesling variety is cultivated here. Like the single vineyard Leiterchen, the Felsenkopf is solely owned by the Milz Josef winery. The picture shows the municipality of Trittenheim with the single vineyards Altärchen, Apotheke, Felsenkopf and Leiterchen in the Großlage Michelsberg.

There is a vast number of sources on the web where one can acquire knowledge about wine. But none has the scope, timeliness and accuracy of the information in the encyclopaedia at wein.plus. I use it regularly and rely on it.
