The white grape variety is a new cross between Chasselas x Queen of the Vineyards. Synonyms or breeding numbers are 514-42, KM.3 and Mathiasztelep 3. The cross was made in 1950 in Hungary by the breeders Sandor Szegeti, Janos Eroes and Ernoe Damay. It is used as a winepress and table grape. The variety is cultivated in Moldova (2.5 ha) and in Hungary (0.5 ha). In 2016, 3 hectares of vines were declared (Kym Anderson statistics).
