Farmer Anton

The winery is located in the community of Feuersbrunn (Neufang 42) in the Lower Austrian wine-growing region of Wagram. Since 1993, the traditional business has been managed by Anton Bauer in the fourth generation of the family. The vineyards comprise 16 hectares of vineyards in the Gmörk and Rosenberg areas. They are planted to 60% with the white wine varieties Grüner Veltliner, Welschriesling, Riesling, Pinot Blanc and Chardonnay, and 40% with the red wine varieties Zweigelt, Blaufränkisch, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Pinot Noir. Natural viticulture is practised. A healthy soil, enriched with humus, forms the basis for the deep-rooted vines. Great importance is attached to grape production that is gentle on beneficial organisms and moderate use of plant protection products.
