Exalta

The white grape variety is a new cross between Muscat d'Hamburg x Perlette. The cross was made by the breeder Marcel Pierre Durquety at the Institut National de la Recherche Agronomique Station de Recherches de Viticulture in Bordeaux(France). The grapes have a muscat tone. The variety is mainly used as table grape. It is cultivated in small stands in south-west France. In 2016, three hectares of vines were designated (Kym Anderson).
