Evita Blanche

The white grape variety (also Evita) is an interspecific new variety between Perle von Zala (Zala Gyöngye) x Perlette. It must not be confused with the Serbian Evita. It contains genes from Vitis berlandieri, Vitis rupestris and Vitis vinifera. The hybrid was crossed in Austria by the Mayer vine breeding company. The berries have a muscat tone. The vine is used as table grape. No stocks were reported in 2016 (Kym Anderson).
