EVENA

Abbreviation for "Estación de Viticultura y Enología de Navarra". Spain 's leading research institute for viticulture and oenology in the north of the city of Olite in the Navarra region has a wide range of tasks. All the important vines for Navarra are cultivated with different rootstocks on different types of soil in numerous experimental facilities. Wine is produced from this every year and the products are analysed using the latest technologies. The findings are passed on to the region's winegrowers and they are informed about the best techniques in the vineyard and cellar.
