Evangelische Kirche von Hessen und Nassau

The winery is located in the municipality of Weinolsheim ( Nierstein area) in the German wine-growing region of Rheinhessen. The vineyards cover four hectares of vines in the single vineyard sites of Hipping (Nierstein), Bornpfad, Himmelthal, Steig-Terrassen (Guntersblum), Kehr (Weinolsheim), Herrenberg, Kreuz, Sackträger and Schloss (Oppenheim), Falkenberg and Tafelstein (Dienheim), and Kranzberg (Dalheim). They are half planted with Riesling, as well as Pinot Noir, Silvaner, Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris and Huxelrebe. The vineyard has been leased by Erich and Eric Manz since 2003. The wines are vinified separately and marketed under their own label Evangelische Kirche von Hessen und Nassau.
