EU Eco-Regulation

The "Council Regulation (EEC) No. 834/2007 of 28 June 2007 on organic production and labelling of organic products" (also European Organic Regulation, EC Organic Regulation) defines how products and foodstuffs labelled as organic must be produced. It is the successor to Regulation EEC 2092/91, which was thus repealed. In 2012 the implementing rules for organic wine production were supplemented. In viticulture, this will regulate the production of organic wine (organic wine). See also under organic viticulture and organic labels.
