The white grape variety is an open-pollinated seedling of Concord. It contains genes from Vitis labrusca and Vitis vinifera. It was selected in the USA in 1889 by Ephraim Wales Bull (1806-1895). The variety is mainly used as table grape. No stocks were reported in 2016 (Kym Anderson statistics).
In the past, you needed a wealth of encyclopaedias and specialist literature to keep up to date in your vinophile professional life. Today, Wine lexicon from wein.plus is one of my best helpers and can rightly be called the "bible of wine knowledge".
