Eschkol

Hebrew term (also Eskol, Eschol, Eshcol) for the grape. The term became known in connection with the scouting incident involving the discovery of a huge bunch of grapes in the Book of Numbers (ch. 13.22 ff) of the Old Testament. See Bible in the first paragraph.
