The winery "Eminger's Weine" is located in the municipality of Niedersulz in the east of the Lower Austrian wine-growing region of Weinviertel. The family has been resident here for generations, and today the estate is run by Ing. Wilhelm Eminger. In addition to viticulture, fruit growing (apples) is also practised. The vineyards cover 12 hectares in the Baumleiten, Breiten, Gossendorf and Steinbergen vineyards. Two thirds of the vineyards are planted with the white wine varieties Grüner Veltliner, Riesling, Gelber Muskateller, Welschriesling, Weißburgunder, Sauvignon Blanc and Rivaner, and one third with the red wine varieties Zweigelt, Blauburger and Cabernet Sauvignon. The vineyards are consistently cultivated according to the environmentally friendly guidelines of integrated production (IP) with, for example, cover crop and the protection of beneficial insects. The newly built winery allows a particularly gentle processing of the grapes. The premium wines include Grüner Veltliner Weinviertel, Grüner Veltliner Baumleiten Exklusiv, Sauvignon Blanc Baumleiten Exklusiv, Zweigelt Klassik and Zweigelt Barrique. Distillates (Trebern and fruit brandies) and bottle-fermented sparkling wines are also produced.

Serious sources on the internet are rare - and Wine lexicon from wein.plus is one such source. When researching for my articles, I regularly consult the wein.plus encyclopaedia. There I get reliable and detailed information.
