The winery is located in the municipality of Landau (Südliche Weinstraße area). in the German wine-growing region of Pfalz. The traditional winery has been run by Norbert Bauer and his two sons Alexander and Martin, the fifth generation of the family, since 2011. The vineyards cover 29 hectares of vineyards in the single vineyard sites Herrenberg, Kaiserberg and Münzberg (Landau), Osterberg (Bad Dürkheim), Rossberg (Essingen), Silberberg (Niederhorbach), Steingebiss (Appenhofen), Kastanienbusch (Birkweiler), and Sonnenberg (Leinsweiler).
They are planted with the white wine varieties Rieslíng, Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Muscat and Auxerrois, as well as with the red wine varieties Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Pinot Meunier. Sustainable viticulture is practised according to the certified rules of Fair'n Green. The extensive product range is divided into the lines estate wines, local wines and site wines. Bottle-fermented sparkling wines are also produced. The winery is a member of the Fair'n Green, Forum Pfalz and Generation Riesling associations.
