The white grape variety comes from Croatia. Synonyms are Kortolaska, Kurtelasca and Kurtolaska. It shows great morphological similarity with the Gegic variety. The vine produces acidic, aromatic white wines with storage potential. It is cultivated on the Dalmatian islands Korčula and Vis and is also used as a table grape. No stock was reported in 2010 (Kym Anderson).
