The winery is located in the municipality of Straß im Straßertale in the Lower Austrian wine-growing region of Kamptal. It has been run by Birgit Eichinger since 1992. A newly built winery building with cellar was put into operation in 1994. The vineyards cover 16 hectares of vines in the Gaisberg, Hasel, Heiligenstein, Lamm, Stangl and Wechselberg vineyards. They are 100% planted with the white wine varieties Grüner Veltliner (60%), Riesling, Chardonnay and Roter Veltliner. The wines are fermented chilled in stainless steel tanks, with particular attention paid to the purity of the must before fermentation. Depending on the vintage, Grüner Veltliner is also matured in large wooden barrels.
