The "Weingut-Heurigenschank Eder" is located in the municipality of Gedersdorf in the wine-growing region of Kremstal (Lower Austria). The traditional family has been growing wine here since 1849. A wine tavern is attached. Since 2013, Martin Eder has been the seventh generation of the family to run the winery. The vineyards cover 16 hectares in the Gernlissen, Lössterrassen, Reisental and Spiegel vineyards. They are planted with the white wine varieties Grüner Veltliner, Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc, Muskateller and Chardonnay, as well as with the red wine variety Zweigelt. The premium wines include various Rieslings and Grüner Veltliner Kremstal DAC or Kremstal DAC Reserve. Bottle-fermented sparkling wines, grape juices and noble brandies are also produced. In years with suitable weather conditions, Trockenbeerenauslese wines are also produced.
