The winery is located in the municipality of Göttlesbrunn in the Carnuntum wine-growing region of Lower Austria. It has been family-owned since 1659. A wine tavern is attached. Today, the traditional winery is run by Christian and Brigitte Edelmann, who are supported by their parents Anton and Henriette. The vineyards cover nine hectares, 50% of which are planted with the white wine varieties Grüner Veltliner, Pinot Blanc, Chardonnay, Welschriesling and Gelber Muskateller, and 50% with the red wine varieties Zweigelt, Blauburger, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. The vineyards are cultivated in a natural, environmentally friendly way. The wines are mostly matured dry in steel tanks, large wooden barrels or barriques, depending on the type of wine. In the case of red wine, the focus is on Zweigelt, which is vinified in different varieties. The premium wines include Grüner Veltliner Selection, Zweigelt Rubin Carnuntum and the red wine cuvée Edelmann (Zweigelt, Merlot), which is aged for 15 months in barriques. Around 30,000 bottles of wine are produced annually. Fine brandies (pomace, wine), red wine chocolate, red wine liqueur and jams and wine jelly are also produced. The winery is a member of the winegrowers' association Die Rubin Carnuntum Weingüter.
