The red grape variety is a new breed between Adisi(Hadisi) x Cabernet Sauvignon. The crossing was made in 1953 by the breeder S. A. Pogosyan at the Armyansk Institute in the former USSR(Armenia). With the same parents the variety Eraskh was created. In 2016 no stock was recorded (statistics Kym Anderson).
