Drum harness

A term commonly used in the Austrian Weinviertel for various vessels, mostly made of wood, which were formerly used in the wine cellar during pressing or in subsequent vinification. The picture shows a small vat, an ampere and a quarter sheepl. See also under Customs in viticulture and wine vessels.
