The winery is located in the municipality of Oestrich-Winkel in the German wine-growing region of Rheingau. It is run by Dr. Matthias and Brigitte Corvers. An estate bar and a vinotheque in the old vaulted cellar are attached. The vineyards cover 12 hectares of vines in the single vineyard sites Doosberg and Klosterberg (Oestrich), Gutenberg and Hasensprung (Winkel), Edelmann and St. Nikolaus (Mittelheim), Erntebringer and Hölle (Johannisberg), Höllenberg(Assmannshausen), as well as Berg Roseneck, Berg Rottland, Berg Schlossberg, Bischofsberg, Drachenstein and Kirchenpfad (Rüdesheim). Around 75% of the vines are planted with Riesling, as well as Pinot Noir and the rare variety Roter Riesling. Environmentally friendly viticulture is practised. The selectively harvested grapes are gently pressed. The white wines are fermented cool and slowly and aged on the fine lees in stainless steel. The red wines mature in barrique. Bottle-fermented sparkling wines, pearl wines, grape juices, liqueurs (blackberry, strawberry, sloe) and noble brandies (pomace, wine) are also produced.
