The white grape variety (also North Carolina 276-108) is an interspecific new breeding between Higgins (Yuga x unknown variety) x Dixie (San Jacinto x Brilliant). It contains genes from Vitis aestivalis, Vitis labrusca, Vitis lincecumii, Vitis rotundifolia and Vitis vinifera. The hybrid was crossed in North Carolina in 1959 by C. F. Williams, C. F. Nesbitt and V. H. Underwood. It is used as a winepress and table grape. The variety is cultivated in the Southeast and Gulf States of the USA. However, no stocks were reported in 2016 (Kym Anderson statistics).
