The winery is located in the municipality of Tattendorf in the Lower Austrian wine-growing region Thermenregion. It was founded in 1907 by Johann Dopler. After passing his viticulture and cellar master exams, the winery has been run by his great-grandson Günther Dopler since 1988. The vineyards cover 14.5 hectares. They are planted with the red wine varieties Blauer Portugieser, Zweigelt, St. Laurent, Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon, Blaufränkisch and Merlot, as well as with the white wine varieties Neuburger, Pinot Blanc, Rivaner and Muskat Ottonel. The white wines are matured in steel tanks, the red wines in large wooden barrels or in barriques. Premium wines are the barrique-aged red wine cuvée "Lindbergh" (St. Laurent, Pinot Noir), the barrique-aged red wines "Merlot Reserve" and "Daniel" (CS), as well as the "Blauer Portugieser" aged in large wooden barrels. Grape juices, liqueurs, brandies and bottle-fermented sparkling wines are also produced. The winery is a member of the winegrowers' association Burgundermacher.
