Domaine

Commonly used term (also Mas) for a vineyard in the south of France and especially in Burgundy. In Bordeaux, on the other hand, Château is common, which can also have a special meaning, especially in the Médoc. Other terms are Azienda vinicola (Italy), Estate (New World) and Weingut (Germany and Austria).
