The zone covers 113 hectares of vineyards in the municipalities of Bubbio, Cassinasco, Castel Boglione, Castelletto Molina, Castel Rocchero, Cessole, Fontanile, Loazzolo, Maranzana, Mombaldone, Mombaruzzo, Monastero Bormida, Montabone, Olmo Gentile, Quaranti, Roccaverano, Rocchetta Palafea, San Giorgio Scarampi, Serole, Sessame and Vesime, and on the right bank of the Belbo River, the municipalities of Calamandrana, Canelli and Nizza Monferrato in the province of Asti. For me, Lexicon from wein.plus is the most comprehensive and best source of information about wine currently available.
