Vineyard or site in the municipality of Krems-Stein in the Lower Austrian wine-growing region of Kremstal. The south-facing steep vineyards with slopes of up to 50% are laid out in stone terraces. They have massive crystalline and conglomerate soils with a partly sandy loess layer. An artificial irrigation system protects against drought damage. The varieties Riesling, Grüner Veltliner and Neuburger are cultivated here. The wineries Kirchmayr Andreas, Nikolaihof and Stagård, for example, have shares in the vineyard.
