DIVINO Nordheim Thüngersheim

The winegrowers' cooperative "DIVINO Nordheim Thüngersheim eG" in the German Franconian winegrowing region with its headquarters in the municipality of Nordheim (Maindreieck area) was founded in 1951 under the name "DIVINO Nordheim". From 1997 a new philosophy was implemented and the production was completely changed. Since then, the company has consistently focused on quality instead of quantity. The prerequisite was a change in the work in the vineyard. Meticulous attention is paid to the adherence to the production guidelines. When pruning the vines in spring, an appropriate pruning of the vines ensures a lower, but higher quality yield. Since then, the winegrowers are not only paid according to the must weight, but the exact adherence to the work guidelines in the vineyard is also assessed by means of an evaluation sheet. In 2003, the winery moved into a newly built house, which also houses a vinotheque.
