The "Timo Dienhart - Römerkelter" winery is located in the municipality of Maring-Noviand ( Bernkastel area) in the German Moselle wine-growing region. The second part of the name refers to the ancient wine press found in the village in 1977. The traditional family has been growing grapes since 1729. They also rent out guest rooms and organise vineyard hikes with culinary multi-course menus. The business is run by Timo Dienhart.
The vineyards cover 15 hectares of vines on 70% steep sl opes in the single vineyard sites Honigberg, Klosterberg, Römerpfad and Sonnenuhr (Maring-Noviand). They are planted with the white wine varieties Riesling (70%), Rivaner (Müller-Thurgau), Chardonnay, Cabernet Blanc and Sauvignac, as well as the red wine varieties Pinot Noir, Regent and Cabernet Cortis. Organic viticulture has been practised according to certified ECOVIN rules since 1995. The vineyards have been cultivated biodynamically since 2003 and according to Delinat-certified rules since 2006.
