The "Timo Dienhart - Römerkelter" winery is located in the municipality of Maring-Noviand ( Bernkastel area) in the German Moselle wine-growing region. The second part of the name refers to the ancient wine press found in the village in 1977. The traditional family has been growing grapes since 1729. They also rent out guest rooms and organise vineyard walks with a culinary multi-course menu. The farm is run by Timo Dienhart. The vineyards cover 15 hectares of vines on 70% steep slopes in the Honigberg, Klosterberg, Römerpfad and Sonnenuhr (Maring-Noviand) vineyards. They are planted with the white wine varieties Riesling (main variety with 70% of the stock), Rivaner (Müller-Thurgau), Chardonnay, Cabernet Blanc and Sauvignac, as well as with the red wine varieties Pinot Noir, Regent and Cabernet Cortis. Since 1995, organic viticulture has been practised according to the certified rules of ECOVIN. Biodynamic viticulture has been practised since 2003 and Delinat certified viticulture since 2006.
