The white grape variety is a new breeding between Fresno A 13-2 x Fresno B 2-11, with the varieties Muscat d'Hamburg, Perlette and Flame Seedless among others. The crossbreeding was done in Australia in 1985 by the breeders David W. Ramming and Ronald E. Tarailo. It is grown in small quantities in the Murray Darling (Victoria) and Swan Hill (New South Wales) areas. In 2016 two hectares of vineyard were designated (Kym Anderson).
In the past, you needed a wealth of encyclopaedias and specialist literature to keep up to date in your vinophile professional life. Today, Wine lexicon from wein.plus is one of my best helpers and can rightly be called the "bible of wine knowledge".
