The white grape variety comes from Albania. The parentage (parenthood) is unknown. According to DNA analyses carried out in 2005, there may be genetic links with the two Albanian varieties Debina Teki and Debine e Bardhë, as well as with the Greek variety Debina. It is cultivated in small quantities in the south-eastern region of Skrapar. In 2016 no stock was reported (Statistics Kym Anderson).

In the past, you needed a wealth of encyclopaedias and specialist literature to keep up to date in your vinophile professional life. Today, Wine lexicon from wein.plus is one of my best helpers and can rightly be called the "bible of wine knowledge".
