The white grape variety comes from Albania. The parentage (parenthood) is unknown. According to DNA analyses carried out in 2005, there may be genetic links with the two Albanian varieties Debina Teki and Debine e Bardhë, as well as with the Greek variety Debina. It is cultivated in small quantities in the south-eastern region of Skrapar. In 2010, no stock was reported (Statistics Kym Anderson).
