Riede (Lage) in the municipality of Langenlois in the Lower Austrian wine growing region of Kamptal. The relatively flat vineyard covers a total of 60 hectares, the core of 15 hectares is oriented to the southeast. It is sheltered from the wind from the north-east. The soils consist of brown earth mixed with clay on crystalline primary rock. The roots have to work their way down through the hard rock. There is an optimal water supply. Mainly the varieties Grüner Veltliner, Blauburgunder and Merlot are cultivated. Shares of the reed are, for example, held by the Bründlmayer Willi, Jurtschitsch and Loimer Fred vineyards.
