Darroze

The Armagnac House "Francis Darroze S.A." in Roquefort was founded in 1973 by Francis Darroze. There is basically no blend, neither of vintages, nor of layers or barrels, each individual barrel is bottled uncut. Thus there are basically only vintage armagnacs. As a further special feature, the ageing process is extended so that the mature armagnacs are ready to drink without the addition of water. This process, which is unusual in the Armagnac region, results in a great variety of products with domain and bottling date on the label.
