Confusing homonym of unknown meaning for different varieties (mostly table grapes). These are Alphonse Lavallée (Blue Damascene), Bicane (Damascene Early White, Damascene White), Black Morocco (Damascene Blue), Lattuario Nero (Damascene Blue), Muscat d'Alexandrie (Damascene White Muscat, Damascene Muscat, Muscat Damascene) and Syrah (Damascene Blue). There is no independent variety. Other common homonyms/synonyms of these varieties are partly Black Morocco and Geißdutte.
