Balloon bottle (basket flat) made of glass or earthenware, usually with a volume of five litres, used in Argentina, wrapped in a bast or straw netting. It is used for the storage or serving of simple wines. The French equivalent is called Dame-Jeanne (see the meaning of the name there), the Italian Damigiana.
