Dalmasso 12-40

The white grape variety is a new breed between Welschriesling x Riesling. The crossing was made in Conegliano (Veneto) by the Italian breeder Giovanni Dalmasso (1886-1974). It is used as a wine grape. In 2016, however, no stock was recorded (statistics Kym Anderson).

The glossary is a monumental achievement and one of the most important contributions to wine knowledge. Of all the encyclopaedias I use on the subject of wine, it is by far the most important. That was the case ten years ago and it hasn't changed since.
