Dagestan

The red dessert wine comes from the province of the same name in Russia and is made from the Saperavi (90%) and Cabernet Sauvignon grape varieties. The sweet and high-alcohol (up to 16% alcohol by volume) wine matures for two years at the producer's before being sold. See also under winemaking.
