Czamillon Mountain

Situated in the municipality of Leutschach in the Austrian wine-growing region of Southern Styria on the border with Slovenia. The vineyards formerly belonged to the estate of the Polish Count Woracziczky, who was considered a wine pioneer here. The south-facing vineyards with optimal sunlight and intensive heat storage cover 12 hectares of vineyards on soils of clay marl, shell limestone and loose brown earth(opok). The white wine varieties Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc,Pinot Blanc and Muscat, as well as the red wine varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, St. Laurent and Zweigelt are cultivated. The vineyards Polz Erich and Walter, Potzinger Stefan and Tscheppe am Pössnitzberg have shares in the vineyard
