Cyanidine

A red (in acids) and blue (in bases) dye belonging to the anthocyanin group of flavonoids and found in many plants and fruits such as blueberries, strawberries, cornflowers, plums, red roses, red cabbage and grapes (especially in the skin and grape seeds). The antioxidant substance has a health-promoting antioxidant effect as a free radical scavenger.
