The Hungarian grape breeder Jozsef Csimazia worked for many years at the Research Institute for Viticulture and Cellar Management in Eger. Here, often in cooperation with other breeders such as Laszlo Bereznai, he created numerous new varieties in the 1960s to 1970s. These included the varieties Aron, Bianca, Bíborfrankos, Fanny, Goecseji Zamatos, Gárdonyi Géza, Gyöngyrizling, Lilla, Medina (1), Nero, Titan, Turán, Vertes Csillaga, Viktor and Zala Gyöngye. The two varieties Eger 1 (open-pollinated seedling of Seyve-Villard 12-286) and Eger 2 (identical to Villard Blanc) were selected by him and used for breeding. Csizmazia was awarded the Peter Morio Prize in 1994 for his breeding achievements.
There is a vast number of sources on the web where one can acquire knowledge about wine. But none has the scope, timeliness and accuracy of the information in the encyclopaedia at wein.plus. I use it regularly and rely on it.
