Synonyms are Akermanskii Belii, Alb de Akerman, Alb de Belgorod, Alb de Chetatia Alba, Alb Rominesc, Alb Rominese, Alb Romynesk, Cruce, Galbenâ Verde, Kroutcereitza, Kroutche, Poama Cruce, Poma Cruce, Poma Krutche and Stara Loza. The parentage is unknown. The vine is grown in tiny quantities in Romania. In 2016, only 0.1 hectares of vines were reported (Kym Anderson statistics).
