Coteaux du Loir

The municipal appellation is located north of the French region of Touraine (Loire). The vineyards with almost 100 hectares of vines are located on the right bank of the Loir. The red wine is blended from the varieties Pineau d'Aunis (at least 30%), Gamay, Pinot Noir, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon. The rosé wine consists of Pineau d'Aunis, Cabernet Franc, Gamay, Malbec and up to 25% Grolleau. The white wine is made from Chenin Blanc. Well-known producers are Chaussard, Fresneau, Gigou, Robinot and Rycke. The Jasnières appellation is an enclave in the north of the area.
