This white grape variety is a new cross between Palomino x Cardinal. The crossing took place in Andalusia/Spain. The medium-maturing, high-yielding vine produces white wines with moderate acidity. It is mainly used in the Jerez area for the production of base wines for distillation. No stock was recorded in 2016 (Kym Anderson).
