Single vineyard site in the municipality of Haardt (Mittelhaardt-Deutsche Weinstrasse area) in the German Palatinate wine growing region. The vineyard, which faces south to east at 180 meters above sea level, comprises 15 hectares of vineyards. Shares in the Bürgergarten site are held, for example, by the Kaub Karl-Heinz, Weegmüller and Weik Bernd vineyards. The plot "Breumel in den Wauern" with a 5% incline comprises 2.6 hectares of vineyards. Until 1971 this was an independent single vineyard and now there are again efforts to classify it as such again. The plot is surrounded by a three metre high sandstone wall, which offers protection from the winds and creates a special microclimate. The plateau-like plot of land once belonged to the bailiwick of the "Winzina" castle complex above and was probably named by one of its former managers (Burgvogte). The deep soil consists of red sandstone with deposits of loess loam. The Riesling variety in particular is cultivated here. The parcel is in the exclusive possession of the Müller-Catoir winery.
