Colli Romagna Centrale

DOC area for white and red wines in the Italian region of Emilia-Romagna. The zone includes the municipalities of Bertinoro, Borghi, Castrocaro Terme e Terra del Sole, Cesena, Civitella di Romagna, Dovadola, Forlì, Forlimpopoli, Galeata, Longiano, Meldola, Mercato Saraceno, Modigliana, Montiano, Predappio, Rocca San Casciano, Roncofreddo, Santa Sofia, Sarsina, Savignano sul Rubicone, Sogliano al Rubicone and Tredozio in the province of Forlì-Cesena.

The Bianco is blended from Chardonnay (50-60%), as well as any use of Bombino Bianco, Sauvignon = Sauvignon Blanc, Trebbiano Toscano and Pinot Bianco = Pinot Blanc (40-50%). The Rosso is produced from Cabernet Sauvignon (50-60%), as well as any blend of Sangiovese, Merlot, Barbera and Montepulciano (40-50%). Four pure wines are Chardonnay (100%), Trebbiano (85%), Cabernet Sauvignon (85%) and Sangiovese (100%). From Chardonnay, Rosso, Cabernet Sauvignon and Sangiovese there is also a Riserva.
