The winery is located in the municipality of Trittenheim (Bernkastel area) in the German wine-growing region of Mosel. It has been run by Ernst Clüsserath since 1991. The vineyards cover a little more than three hectares of vines in the Altärchen and Apotheke vineyards in Trittenheim. They are almost exclusively planted with Riesling (3.1 ha), as well as small amounts of Kerner and Müller-Thurgau. The vineyards are cultivated in a consistent, natural way, with fertilisation exclusively on an organic basis, and no herbicides or insecticides are used at all. The musts are fermented as spontaneously as possible at constant temperatures between 16 and 18 degrees Celsius, and half of them are matured in classic wooden barrels and half in stainless steel tanks. Around 25,000 bottles of wine are produced annually. Eighty percent of this goes directly to the end consumer, the rest is exported to the United States.

There is a vast number of sources on the web where one can acquire knowledge about wine. But none has the scope, timeliness and accuracy of the information in the encyclopaedia at wein.plus. I use it regularly and rely on it.
