CIVM

The international wine competition "Concours International des Vins de Montagne" (International Competition for Wines from Mountain Regions) has been organised by the CERVIM since 1991, mostly on an annual basis. Its members are Germany, France, Italy, Austria, Portugal, Switzerland and Spain. This international organisation with its headquarters in Saint-Vincent in the Italian Aosta Valley was founded in 1987 under the patronage of the OIV. The CIVM is an event for producers from mountain regions, steep slopes and exposed growing areas. The aim is to promote and better exploit the potential of wines from these areas, which often have great cultivation difficulties and high production costs.

Sigi Hiss

There is a vast number of sources on the web where one can acquire knowledge about wine. But none has the scope, timeliness and accuracy of the information in the encyclopaedia at wein.plus. I use it regularly and rely on it.
