Cin Cin

The formal toast in Italy that is used when toasting with glasses. It became known all over the world in the 1960s through the Cinzano company's commercial sung by the pop singer Rita Pavone. The informal toast is "Salute"(health). See other countries under toasts, and also under wine customs.
