A wine cooperative located in the municipality of Porrera in the Spanish DOCa area of Priorato (Catalonia). The mountain tops around Porrera are called "Cims". It was founded in 1996 and has invested heavily in the winery and technology. The winegrowers are advised in the management of the vineyards and in the vinification by Professor José Luis Pérez (owner of Mas Martinet) and his daughter Sara. Some of the vines cultivated are Garnatxa(Garnacha) and Carineña(Mazuelo), which are over a century old and produce extremely low yields. In the past, the grapes were delivered to the Vall-Llach winery, where the two wines "Clàssic" and (as second wine) "Solanes" were produced. Now they are produced in the cooperative winery. They are also bottled in oversized formats such as Magnum.

There is a vast number of sources on the web where one can acquire knowledge about wine. But none has the scope, timeliness and accuracy of the information in the encyclopaedia at wein.plus. I use it regularly and rely on it.
