The winery is located in the district of Jedlersdorf in the 21st district of Floridsdorf north of the Danube in the northeast of the Austrian capital Vienna. A wine tavern with a guest garden and a vinotheque with a winter garden are connected. The Christ family has over 400 years of winegrowing tradition. Since 2004, Rainer Christ has been managing the winery. The vineyards cover about 20 hectares of vineyard area in southern locations on the Bisamberg in the Breiten, Bruch and Gabrissen vineyards. In 2014, the oldest organically cultivated vineyards in Vienna were taken over here. The white wine varieties Grüner Veltliner, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay,Pinot Blanc, Riesling and Gelber Muskateller are cultivated to 80%, and the red wine varieties Zweigelt, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Syrah to 20%. Some of the vineyards are very old.
