The winery is located near the municipality of Filiria in the Goumenissa appellation in the Greek region of Macedonia. It was founded in 1994 by Vangelis Chatzivarytis and Olga Iakovidou. The vineyards cover 12 hectares of vineyards, planted with the white wine varieties Assyrtiko, Roditis, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and Gewürztraminer, and the red wine varieties Xynomavro, Negoska, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. New varieties are experimented with on some hectares. The newly built two-storey premises with underground wine cellar was completed in 2007 and has a capacity of 100,000 bottles. The vineyards are organically cultivated in an environmentally friendly way and are DHO-certified. The winery is certified according to the ISO 9001 standard and works with HACCP control system. It produces red, rosé and white wines OPAP Goumenissa (quality wines) and Topikos Oinos (country wines).
