Producer description of "Château Pavie Decesse"

The winery is located 1.5 km southeast of in the area of the same name (Bordeaux). The estate used to belong to (see the history there). It was bought by the wholesale market owner Gérard Perse in 1997. The estate is classified as "Grand Cru Classé", which was last confirmed in 2012. The vineyards cover ten hectares of vineyards with Merlot (90%) and Cabernet Franc (10%). The long-lasting red wine is aged for six months in 100% new barriques.
