One of the former names of the Château d'Armailhac; see there.

The winery is located in the commune of Pauillac or the area of the same name in the Médoc(Bordeaux). The origins of the estate date back to the 14th century. Around 1720, an estate building and land came into the possession of Dominique Armailhacq. By 1740 at the latest, wine was being produced on the land of the estate, now called Mouton-d'Armailhacq.
